Becoming a Christian is not "rocket science". Everyone, regardless of age, must be convicted of sin by the Holy Spirit. To become a Christian, a person must believe that Jesus' death paid the penalty for sin and that God raised Jesus from the dead and make a lifetime decision to let Jesus control his or her life. If you want to begin a new life in Christ, it's as easy as 1-2-3.


     The first step is to admit to God that you are a sinner. Sincerely ask God for forgiveness and turn away from your sins. Admitting this does not mean you are a bad person. It is aknowledging that you are not living the life God desires for you and you are now determined to do right. (Romans 3:23; Romans 6:23; Acts 3:19; 1John 1:9)


     Second, one must believe that Jesus is God's One and Only Son. Believe Jesus died on the cross and came back to life so we can be forgiven. Then, you can accept God's gift of forgiveness from sin. (John 3:16; Acts 4:12; Romans 5:8; Ephesians 2:8-9; John 1:11-13)


     Third, you confess your faith in Jesus Christ as your Savior and Lord. Rejoice and tell others. (Romans 10:9-10,13)


     Gods greatest desire is for each and every person to live in Heaven with Him. God loves you. He loves you so much He allowed His very own Son to die in your place. What a great love!


     These three steps said as a sincere prayer to God will lead you to that new life in Christ. Live in a way that pleases Him. We encourage you to join a Bible-based family of believers.
