The Encouragers
The Encouragers, traditionally, have been made up of the men from our church whom have come together to have a Christian fellowship with others, as well as tackle church/community needs in our area. Our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ provided us with many examples of how we should live. One such example is in John 13.
John 13:13-17
13 "Ye call me Master and Lord: and ye say well; for so I am."
14 "If I then, your Lord and Master, have washed your feet, ye also ought to wash one another's feet."
15 "For I have given you an example, that ye should do as I have done to you."
16 "Verily, verily, I say unto you, The servent is not greater than his lord; neither he that is sent greater than he that sent Him."
17 "If ye know these things, happy are ye if ye do them."
The Encouragers meet the first Saturday of each month, 8am, at the church unless otherwise noted. While we are attempting to broaden our attendees from just within our church to all neighboring churches/communities, our original focus remains the same: come together to have Christian fellowship and tackle needs in our area. We may not all have the same gifts or talents, but that doesn't mean we can't make a differnece. To God be the glory!!
